VLOGGING (video blogging) is one of the biggest media phenomenas of the last few years. Sharing self-made videos on YouTube and other sites is a great way for LGB, trans and queer people to make connections and raise awareness of issues. If you want to have a go, why not start with an intensive workshop with two of the best?
Kate Adair (My Genderation/BBC The Social) and Naomhán O’Connor (My Genderation/Freelance Editor) invite budding film-makers and vloggers to come along and learn about film-making and interviewing techniques with a critical queer outlook. Sign up for this one-day workshop to learn how to plan for an interview and film it on a smartphone, edit the interview and promote it on social media. You will also have a chance to film with a Canon DSLR, learn how to set up a two-camera interview and cut between angles.
No previous experience needed but places are limited. Book your place by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
