Let Us Eat Cake is an exhibition by Anthony Luvera made in collaboration with a group of seven LGBTQ+people living in Northern Ireland. Over nine months the artist worked with participants in workshops, meetings, and through online platforms to compile research, create photographs, and publish a blog that explores what it means to be queer in Northern Ireland today.

Let Us Eat Cake celebrates the LGBTQ+ communitie s of NI and calls into question issues of identity, representation and equality.

The exhibition forms part of the Queer Visions of Peace project in association with the Traditional Justice Institute at Ulster University, and Queen’s University, and is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council.
