I LOVE YOU… BUT WE ONLY HAVE 14 MINUTES TO SAVE THE EARTH

Sunday 18th November/ 8pm / Black Box / £8

‘Flash! I love you but we only have fourteen hours to save the earth!’

It’s 2012 and prophecies of doom abound. The banks are collapsing… the ice-caps are melting… right-wing politics are on the rise. Let’s face it, the planet is f**ked. But can queer cabaret artistes save the day?

Fresh from the Soho Theatre London and Latitude Festival, and featuring performances by Avant Guardian Angel David Hoyle and reigning Alternative Miss World Fancy Chance, I love You… But We Only Have 14 minutes To Save the Earth is a delicious cabaret of  “queer TED talks”, where each artiste has just fourteen revolutionary minutes in which to save our planet. Serving up serious subjects such as ecology, spirituality and politics, along with a shot of anarchic humour and a dash of radical glamour; the show also features director Nathan Evans, plus cinematic entr’actes from legendary Theatrical Radical Bette Bourne and Video Anti-Hero Kate Pelling. And in keeping with the show’s tour to date, there’ll be a special Belfast guest to add their creative 2p’s worth, as the clock ticks down to the end of the world and the end of OUTBURST 2012!
